With environmental issues always at the forefront of our thought, Donald Brothers are well aware of the impact manufacturing processes can have on our natural surroundings. This is why we are dedicated to continually assessing our systems and processes to minimise any effect they may have on the environment.

We design and weave with only principally natural fibres. No effluent is produced during our processing here at our Dundee factory / head quarters and wastage is kept to a minimum by recycling where appropriate.

All suppliers, dyers and finishers of our natural yarns and fabrics are closely monitored and all satisfy all European environmental legislation. All dyestuffs used are purchased only from members of ETAD (Ecological and Toxilogical Association of Dyes and Organic Pigments Manufacturers). Water consumption and purification is monitored by SEPA (Scottish Environmental Protection Agency).

Together with our expert and committed suppliers, we at Donald Brothers recognise our responsibility to respect the environment and endeavour to give constant and watchful consideration to our natural surroundings.
